Man killed in Knights Road accident

A man died early Sunday morning in an accident on the 12700 block of Knights Road.

According to police, the accident happened at about 1:38 a.m.

A 2007 Chrysler was traveling southbound on Knights Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle, hitting 88 Korean BBQ and Hot Pot, on Franklin Mills Boulevard.

Police do not know who was driving the vehicle, but there were three occupants.

A 26-year-old male was transported by a fire department medic unit to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:43 a.m. He was later identified as John Cybulski, of 3100 block of Derry Road in the Far Northeast.

A 21-year-old male was transported to Jefferson Torresdale, then airlifted to Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition.

A 22-year-old male was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in critical condition.

The police Accident Investigation Division is investigating. ••
